17 Oct Hurricane Matthew – Disaster Restoration
Hurricane Matthew’s destructive path started in the Caribbean and slowly made its way through Haiti, Cuba, Turks & Caicos, Bahamas and the eastern seaboard of the Florida, Georgia and the Carolina’s.
We are currently talking with clients about providing support services for their insurance claims and the steps needed to return the properties to their pre-hurricane condition while improving portions of the facilities with insurance proceeds. Our experience in the areas affected uniquely qualifies DRB to provide disaster restoration and insurance claim support and project management services. Our extensive work in the Caribbean, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos including resort communities along the coast provides the perspective needed to deal with the logistic and labor challenges in completing work.
This experience started decades ago with the renovations of the Four Seasons Resort in Nevis. We developed and implemented a work plan to design and complete $ 58 Million of the repairs in 7 and ½ months. A feat not replicated since. In addition, we have participated in hurricane & disaster restoration projects from Texas through the Carolinas and multiple islands in the Caribbean. Those island sites included the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Antigua, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, plus Mexico. We look forward to discussing your property’s insurance claim and restoration program with you.
